When I go off topic, it'd better be good.

Well, I think it is anyway. See, when I get antsy, I work on weird projects. Sometimes I'll just draw a picture or make a practice weapon for the martial art I study, but sometimes I get more... eccentric. This is definitely one of those times. I present to you the fruits of more than a year of off-and-on tinkering:


Yes that's correct, I turned my TI-86 into an in-car GPS receiver. I started the project because I kept getting lost on my longer trips. I know I could've just gone out and bought one that comes with snazzy voice directions and whatnot, but where's the fun in that?

I remember your 7th grade math teacher saying to me at Parent Open House: "You should see what your son can do with his calculator". I wonder if he had this in mind?
